I have blossomed…….

Wow, I have survived 10 nights and 11 days at my training camp, and can happily report I surprised myself with my ability to get through everything day after day, session after session. It was amazing how quickly the time passed, and it seemed to be a constant blur of training, eating, showering and recovery. I did however roll my ankle on the second run of the camp, resulting in some swelling and bruising but I was able to nurse it through out the camp.

The highlight of the camp was my 600m track session, when Sean provided invaluable advice, and watching Dick Telford’s runners on the track, including Michael Shelley and Lisa Corrigan. I received some very positive feedback from Sean regarding my performance during the camp, and he even suggested I had blossomed as a runner during the camp, so it was all worth it. A perfect way to end 2007 and welcome 2008.
